Do you know if there'll ever be another Snk Positivity Week? I feel like now that the manga's over, this would be a great time to have at least one more, especially with all the intense division going on at the moment.

Not that I've heard, but I haven't exactly reached out to anyone about it either. Looking at the list of people who've cohosted those events in the past, I don't think many of them are still on tumblr or else they've moved on to other fandoms.

I'm not opposed to the idea but I know for a fact I don't have it in me to organize and run another event. But if anyone else feels especially motivated, I'd be happy to lend whatever support or insight I can, including access to the tumblr blog.

SNK Positivity Week Day 5: Self Positivity

So I talked a little about my experience with this series last year during positivity week, but now that some time has passed, I might as well expand on those thoughts. Shingeki no Kyojin has truly been a life-changing experience for me in many ways. I've formed lasting friendships, found inspiration and motivation to expand my skills as an artist and content creator, and created so many fun memories. This series has also opened up my mind and got me to think about the world in ways I had never thought of before. Through characters like Gabi, I have learned to sympathize more with people who were brought up in a narrow-minded household. Through the Marley arc, I've come to develop a better understanding of our own world history and how, while there will always be conflict in this world no matter what, beauty can be found for those who believe in it. Currently, this story has me questioning what it means to be truly free. Does it mean you have to die? Does it mean you have to wipe out all your enemies? Or have you already been free all along just by having been born into this world? It's a very compelling question that nobody's going to have the same answer for, but it's a question worth thinking about and I can't wait to see what Isayama has in store for the ending. Whatever it is, I trust that he knows what he's doing and it's going to have us in deep thought for years to come.

For #snkpositivityweek I want to share two of my top favorite panels in the series which in my opinion scream heroism and kindness of my favorite character who's none other than

Levi Ackerman himself.

One might think an act of bravery and heroism always has to occur when the character arrives at a depsperate situation and saves everybody with their badassery and I don't know, killing the enemy with their swords and such. However, in my opinion the fact that here Levi's putting so much efforts on saving homeless, parentless children who never got the taste of any sense of kindness from other people in the past and creating a place wherein they can all settle in together and receive the love they deserve is something grand and in fact true heroism.

What makes me love this beautiful action even more is Levi's genuine reaction to the result of his actions

which is completely out of love, happiness and relief bc these children don't have to experience the unfair childhood he himself had to suffer from as a kid. We really deserve this gentleman back safe and happy :') ❤

I just wanna appreciate Isayama for this detail ❤

Self Positivity: Thank You SNK

This fandom has been such a big part of my life for a wonderful many years now. I’ve met friends through it. I met my wonderful partner @bringobaggins through his cosplay and immediately fell in love. This was probably this biggest fandom obsession that I’ve ever had. So many good things have come out of it, and even though I’ve since shied away from canon, I still love this series with all my heart.
